GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (February 17, 2016) - On April 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10, hop aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad for Day Out With ThomasTM: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016. Train fans of all ages will cheer as they team up with Thomas the Tank EngineTM for a day of family friendly fun with friends from across the world. Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 is presented by Fisher-Price.
This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & FriendsTM series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities. The tour, now in its 21st year, will make 43 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2016.
Since Thomas the Tank Engine left the depot more than 70 years ago, this useful engine and his Island of Sodor friends have chugged their way into the hearts of preschoolers and grownups worldwide. Based on The Railway Series of classic stories, Thomas & FriendsTM is a rite of passage that inspires the imagination while teaching the life lessons of friendship, exploration and cooperation. Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 will be hosted by the Museum of the American Railroad, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, HIT Entertainment and presented by Fisher Price.

5:15 p.m. on Fridays and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tickets: Ticket prices vary due to event schedule. No admission is required for children under 24 months, but the child must sit in a parent's lap.
