GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (August 24, 2018) - Games Workshop, the largest and most successful hobby miniatures company in the world, announces the opening of the all new Warhammer Citadel Store & Café at 616 S. Main St. in Historic Downtown Grapevine. The store opening will take place on Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m.
The Warhammer hobby is all about collecting, building, painting and playing games with Citadel miniatures - the very best tabletop miniatures in the world. Warhammer and its associated activities are enjoyed by millions of enthusiastic hobbyists all across the world and are supported by a vibrant global community. Major brands are Warhammer “Age of Sigmar,” an epic fantasy setting, and “Warhammer 40,000,” a grim-dark, futuristic universe.
The Warhammer Citadel has a larger footprint than traditional Warhammer stores. The larger footprint allows more gaming tables and space for special events and activities. Guests can hang out and experience gaming/painting sessions with tasty snacks and top-notch beverages. The Warhammer Citadel will also act as a hub for the Warhammer hobby in North America; hosting guests from the Design Studio and showcasing a series of unique displays of Citadel miniatures.
The Warhammer Citadel staff is dedicated to introducing people to this exciting hobby. All guests receive a free model and painting lesson, and every customer is offered the chance to play an exciting introductory game using expertly painted models and gaming boards. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to discuss any aspect of Warhammer and arrange one-on-one tutorials.
