40th Annual Parade of Lights Will Make Your Season Bright
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (December 2, 2019) – Spend an evening celebrating Grapevine, the Christmas Capital of Texas®, during the 40th Annual Parade of Lights, Thursday, December 5 at 7 p.m. Parade watchers will line Main Street to watch more than 100 lighted and beautifully decorated floats while marching bands come alive with the sound of the season. Make sure to stick around for the final float in the parade, as that’s where Santa makes his grand entrance.
Making the Season Bright is the theme for this year’s parade, which begins at Main and Hanover Streets and continues north to Northwest Highway, showcasing the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine.
Parade guests can vote for the People’s Choice Award on Twitter. Send a tweet using #GVParadeVote, along with the name or organization of your favorite parade float to cast your vote. Voting opens on December 5 at 7 p.m. and closes at midnight. The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce will announce the winner on their website and social media on Friday, December 6.
