Dance the Night Away at the 28th Annual Main Street Days May 18, 19 and 20
Live Entertainment at Festival Features Variety of Music
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (May 9, 2012) - Burn off some of those pizza calories by dancing to the non-stop live entertainment at the 28th Annual Main Street Days May 18, 19 and 20. Headliners at the 2012 event include Emerald City Band, known for performing classic hits intertwined with some of their own stylings; Hunter Sullivan and his 14-piece big band and for true rock fans, AC/DC cover band Back in Black.
Emerald City Band burst onto the Dallas music scene in the summer of 1983. Emerald City's repertoire electrifies audiences and includes songs from the last 50 years of popular music, as well as today's hits and original music. The collective energy of this 14 piece, 4-horn section group has flown all over the country from New York to Los Angeles to OpryLand. At each engagement they take their audience to an even higher level in entertainment. During the 28th Annual Main Street Days, see Emerald City Band on the Main Stage on Friday, May 18 from 10 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Hunter Sullivan and his 14-piece big band, featuring a ten-piece horn section, have performed around the world and will delight audiences with their musical stylings. Performing with an energetic authenticity, his craft is something he takes seriously, and thankfully, so do his fans. He has a list of international clients, celebrities and Fortune 500 companies. He annually donates a portion of his time and services to philanthropic organizations in and around Texas. He is based out of Dallas and enjoys performing locally as well. During Main Street Days, Hunter Sullivan will perform on the Pizza Piazza stage on Friday, May 18 from 9:45 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. and on Sunday, May 20 from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
And AC/DC fans, you won't want to miss Back in Black, the AC/DC tribute band. This group is an incredible, exciting, high energy reproduction of a concert performance of AC/DC. Back In Black was formed in late 2001 and has created an incredible buzz which has placed them as one of the top drawing tribute acts in North America, performing sold out shows from Puerto Rico to Toronto. During Main Street Days, Back in Black performs on the Main Stage on Saturday from 10 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

The 28th Annual Main Street Days - A Pizza Experience opens Friday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. and admission is free until 5 p.m. Festival hours are Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 20, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. After 5 p.m. on Friday, adults are $7 and children 6 - 12 and seniors are $5. Weekend passes are $15 per person. Souvenir weekend passes are $20 per person. Free shuttles run continuously from area parking lots.
