Grapevine, Texas (January 9, 2013) - Start the year with laughter as Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre welcomes Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin - Live, Friday, January 18 at 9:30 p.m. The show will be taped for television.
Martin, a Saginaw, Texas native, has been busy these days adding words to describe his brand such as actor, screenwriter, songwriter, children's book author and even designer of his own clothing line. And one of his latest acts is, well, a hat act -- but perhaps not in the way you're thinking.
Last year, Martin founded Cowboys Who Care Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides cowboy hats to kids with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. In less than 6 months, the organization has given away more than 800 Resistol cowboy hats across the country including visits to hospitals in Dallas and Fort Worth.
Martin's current tour will take him all over the world including stops in Sacramento, Pasadena, Tucson, Little Rock, Houston, the Caribbean with Carnival Cruise Lines and many others. The tour will conclude with Martin headlining at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in December 2013 during the National Finals Rodeo.
