BABY SHOWER & QUEEN'S CORONATION ANNIVERSARY EVENTS TO BE HELD AT BRITISH EMPORIUM
Saturday, June 15: Royal Baby Shower Open House, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 13: 60th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation Open House , 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Both events will include complimentary tea & refreshments.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (June 2013): There's always something "royal" to celebrate at the most British spot in the Metroplex! It's going to be a momentous summer for the Royal Family and The British Emporium will host two summer events for those that can't join in the festivities "back home."
For those planning their own royal events & tea parties, the Emporium has a fabulous selection of teatime treats, specially imported British foods, gifts and souvenirs. American-style baby showers are a new trend in the U.K - Pippa is having one for her sister, Kate!
According to store owner Sheela Kadam, "our shower on June 15th will be a fun way for royal fans to get together. This is an event of great historical significance for the royal family. Due to changes in the rules of succession, if William and Kate's firstborn is a girl, she'll be a future Queen. There's lots of discussion about baby names! We all think that the royal couple will make great parents - and Harry will be a great uncle!"
The event will include a baby naming contest. Donations of baby items will be accepted for local charity GRACE Grapevine.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II which was in June 1953. The Emporium's anniversary open house on July 13 will reflect "The Coronation Festival" in Buckingham Palace Gardens which takes place next month. Organized by Royal Warrant Holders, the Palace event will showcase the best of British food, drink and culture. To mark the occasion, a sampling of British foods will be available at the store.
