RFD-TV's The Penny Gilley Show Returns to Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre March 12 and 13

Show will tape remaining 13 episodes for upcoming season in Grapevine

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (February 21, 2013) - The Penny Gilley Show, a weekly country music variety show featured on RFD-TV, will return to Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre to tape the final 13 episodes of its upcoming season on March 12 and 13 from 11:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Show tapings are free to attend but reservations are required. The Penny Gilley Show taped the first 12 episodes of the upcoming season in Grapevine last month. Prior to January 2013, The Penny Gilley Show was filmed in Branson, Missouri.

Guests at the show tapings will have a special treat with an appearance by the legendary Mickey Gilley. Rocky Gribble and the Grapevine Opry will provide the musical accompaniment for all the performers and show segments. The show tapings will also feature Grapevine Opry regulars Wynn Williams, Cathy Lake and Jim Campbell. Other guests include Lisa Layne, Kristi Kalyn and Daniella Gilley as well as show regulars Mike Walker and B.B. Secrist.

Penny, originally from West Monroe, Louisiana, was a Grapevine resident for more than 14 years. She is returning after 4 years headlining at the RFD-TV Theater and The Mansion Theater in Branson. She has logged more than 300,000 air miles performing for troops across the world, including 11 tours to South Korea. Her song, "The Line Drawn in the Sand," caught the attention of General Norman Schwarzkopf, who invited her to perform for the homecoming of Desert Storm soldiers in Oceanside, California.

RFD-TV is available on DirecTV - 345, Dish Network - 231, Verizon - 247, and over 650 cable companies nationally. The first shows taped at Grapevine's Palace Theatre begin airing on Tuesday, March 5 at 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.
