Enjoy Active Pairings at the 27th Annual GrapeFest September 12, 13, 14 and 15

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (August 22, 2013) - Discover the unique pairings of fun activities at the 27th Annual GrapeFest, September 12, 13, 14 and 15! Let your feet do the stomping and let your hands do the champagne cork shooting, both of which offer a chance for a "grape" performance.

Discover what it feels like to squish, stomp and get the juice going at the GrapeStomp competition! Two-person teams take turns stomping approximately 18 pounds of grapes for two minutes. Teams that stomp the most juice are eligible to participate in the Grand Champion StompOff on Sunday, September 15 at 3 p.m. Entry fee is $5 per person. A special stomping area is also available for kids 13 and under. GrapeStomp sessions are every half-hour Thursday September 12, 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.; Friday, September 13, 2 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, September 14, 2 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Noon - 2:30 p.m.

Discover your best shot at the Champagne Cork Shoot Off! On Saturday September 14 at 12:30 p.m., participants can see who can shoot a champagne cork the farthest. There is no entry fee and prizes are awarded for the top three distances. The event is held in the Cotton Belt Railroad District, 705 S. Main St.
