While most people instantly think of the Mumbai metropolitan area when asked about Mumbai, there is much more that the city has to offer. Brief Description of Dahisar 

Dahisar is the northernmost village of the Mumbai suburban region. This is the area where the Mumbai suburban area starts from. The Marathi community in the area, which is quite diverse and home to many Gujaratis, Agri, and Kolis, is the second most noticeable ethnic group there. Today, the Dahisar river, which was once full of pristine waters, has become a polluted water structure, and the vast spans of gardens and forests have turned into mangroves. At present, Dahisar has undergone a comprehensive change with more excellent sidewalks for pedestrians and broader, smoother roads. In order to reduce traffic during peak hours, flyovers have been constructed over portions of the Western Express Highway.

What's Great about Dahisar

While the metro is supposed to start from Dahisar as the first station, the Dahisar station remains under construction. The work for these premises has been going on for a long time. The initial delay was caused by result of covid. However, even after operations began typically, the progress of construction could have been faster. This hinders the daily movement of the residents of the area because the highways have been narrowed down. This also leads to extended traffic jams, which makes the living experience unpleasant.

Dahisar is also rich in terms of additional physical resources like access to world-class education and medical facilities.
